Quest summary: Kill the Lucky Family and bring their amulet to Sergey Ryskin.  Rewards Money: 40 48 Quest Items and Rewards:
Quest start: You're going to the Giant's Table? You'll just be wasting your time. I'm sure the Lucky Family has already gotten their paws on whatever valuables there were. What? You don't know who the Lucky Family? Have you been living under a rock or something? Hah! They're a family of Gibberling Prospectors. Whatever they go they always emerge with bags full of artifacts and without so much as a scratch! They even have all the Traders buying up their goods at special prices. I'm telling you, there's something fishy about them. I suspect that their luck is nothing but a facade! Yes, I'm willing to bet that they blindside unsuspecting Prospectors and clean out their bags! There's just no way that any living creature can be this lucky! Even if there are three of them! I propose that we gut these sly bastards! Trust me, no one likes them around here - they just make everybody nervous. You can even keep all their artifacts! I only ask that you bring me their amulet just so I know that they're really dead. Quest check: Just you watch, as soon as the Lucky Family is gone all the honest Prospectors will see a surge in their business! Quest finished: And here's the amulet. Wait a second, it's magic… It's a warding spell that scares off undead… So that's the Lucky Family's secret! The undead never bothered them! Why are you looking at me like that? So, they never attacked the other Prospectors after all. I made a mistake, big deal! I still got a nice amulet out of this, so thanks a bunch! |
