Quest start: Remember how I told you we hired a fellow to get rid of the nasty wildlife? And then he proved to be completely useless and wound up dead in a drunken brawl? His injuries were so bad we thought he'd never be able to resurrect, but it appears that the story of our incompetent necromancer continues. Someone spotted him in the woods, completely drunk and summoning more minions! Apparently, necromancers are not only adept at resurrecting the dead, but themselves too! Go figure! I suppose he's mad about the way he was treated by the Free Traders, so now he's trying to kill them. His name is Yaver Merenptah, and now there's a bounty on his head. We're not about to wait for him to finish summoning his little army before we strike. Grab your weapons and a few good companions and head into the Tipsy Thicket if you want to claim the reward. Quest check: We should have a rule about giving alcohol to crazy people around here… Quest finished: Finally, now that incompetent moron is dead once again. And may he stay dead this time! Now here's your reward. |
