Rewards XP: 250 Rewards Money: 4 75 Quest start: A strange amulet that came from a very strange owner… It would be wise to take this amulet to the demonologist Arthur de Delice in the Sieged Stronghold. Let him figure it out. Quest check: You say an undead was commanding the Orcs? And this is his amulet? Amazing! The Siverian undead are completely devoid of intelligence and act solely on instinct. I studied those skulls you had brought me and thought I had found the answer to this puzzle. However, your running into this intelligent one has ruined all my logical constructs… Quest finished: Have you seen the intelligent undead that are part of the Empire? They appeared right after the Great Cataclysm when Tep's pyramids were destroyed and the trapped souls returned the dead bodies of the Zem people. All of the crypts, burial mounds, and ruins were left behind by the Zem. My theory was that the souls could not reach the bodies in these parts and the dead remained in their graves for many hundreds of years… Now I see that they have become a consumable resource for an evil force who will use these undead up and then throw them away. I thought there was a powerful necromancer at work here! I was already drawing up a detailed report for the Defenders… And here you are with this amulet and a story about an intelligent undead! Damnation! My theory is bursting at the seams! |
